Student Support

The Student Support Team is in place to support ALL students at TGI College and provide specialist, individual support to ensure that students can overcome any barriers that they may be facing.
Your vocational tutors, along with the Student Support team will help you through your academic journey and you will be set academic targets to allow you to progress.
Full-time students and apprentices will meet with a member of the Progress Tutor team on a regular basis. These 1:1 academic progress meetings (APRs) are key to ensuring that the College is meeting the needs of the student and records the targets set to encourage progression and development towards your goals.
Learning Support Assistants are assigned to teaching sessions where identified students require additional support with the challenges of learning. The team is made up of specialists in unlocking potential who work with students across all vocational areas.
